Digital Projection International
(DPI) was founded with one specific objective, to create a range of
super-high-quality, high-brightness projectors with performance so
superior, they redefine the traditional perception of electronic
display. From its inception in 1989, originally as a division of The
Rank Group Digital Projection has been instrumental in the development
and application of Digital Light Processing™ technology by Texas
Instruments for projection systems. In June 1998, Digital Projection was
awarded an Emmy® for technical achievements in broadcast engineering by
the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Los Angeles. The POWER
Display is the first and only projector to win the coveted award.
